Shenzhen, 7 May 2026. A regional carrier has completed the rollout of a new shipment tracking system, built with Gray Mines, across its entire network.

The system keeps every scan, signature and photo on the driver's phone and sends it the moment a connection returns, so parcels no longer vanish from customers' screens on remote routes.

The operations view: every route, with the time since each driver was last in signal.

Early results

  • Customers see an honest estimate, even when a van is out of range.
  • Dispatchers know which routes lose signal, and plan around them.
  • Drivers spend their day driving, not waiting for a screen to load.
“Customers used to call to ask where their parcel was. Now they can see it, even when our driver can't get a signal.”

Next, the carrier and Gray Mines will use the system's history to predict delays before they happen.
